MRIS Cares. Together, We Help When It’s Needed Most.

The role of MRIS Cares is to proactively seek local, national, and international charitable opportunities for consideration by the MRIS Charitable Contributions Committee (MRIS CCC), throughout the calendar year and in times of disaster. The MRIS Cares team acts swiftly to research charities and make recommendations to the MRIS Executive Committee to make sure donations will go where they are needed most.

MRIS CCC began contributing to Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts, but officially formed in response to the earthquake disaster in Haiti in 2010.  Currently,  MRIS Cares team is now actively investigating how we can help the southern United States in the wake of their recent tornados and flooding that have effected thousands.
