MRIS CMO John L. Heithaus to Speak about Organizational Changes Required for Residential Estate Firms of the Future

--Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc.'s (MRIS) Chief Marketing Officer, John L. Heithaus will address 2,000 members of the real estate and technology communities about the urgency of structuring an organization to meet new market realities. His presentation will be part of a panel at Real Estate Connect, a bi-annual industry event that highlights the latest advances in real estate and technology, sponsored by Inman News.

Heithaus, a frequent and highly rated speaker at industry events nationally, will provide a presentation on the topic of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and how it can be applied to conceiving, building and implementing the real estate organization of the future.  The concept, attributed to David Cooperrider at Case Western University, promotes sustainable and positive change by leveraging the capacity to see the most creative and improbable opportunities in the marketplace. AI is  considered a co-evolutionary search for the best in people, their organizations and the relevant world around them.

This event also reflects MRIS's focus on creating innovative products and services that best serve the changing real estate market. MRIS has embraced this approach to development and innovation by refining its evolutionary intelligence resource, RBI.

RealEstate Business Intelligence
(RBI), a recently-launched subsidiary of MRIS, brings agents, brokers and real estate professionals the most timely and reliable housing market data. Users can access deeper, more granular data showing purchase activity and trends by jurisdiction, county and zip code. This unmatched level of expertise empowers real estate professionals to make more educated decisions for their clients. RBI will be providing the most up-to-date residential real estate figures from the June 2010 Residential Real Estate Market Statistics report, which will be available at the conference.
