MRIS Launches Mid-Atlantic Expansion Initiative with the Appointment of Jody Landers
Metropolitan Regional Information Systems (MRIS), the Mid-Atlantic Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that facilitates more than $93 million a day in real estate transactions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jody Landers, former Executive Vice President of the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® (GBBR), to Director, New Market Alliances.

"I’m pleased to appoint such an experienced industry leader to work closely with MRIS’ Board of Directors, executives, staff and volunteer committees to cooperatively expand the company’s geographic coverage, which currently encompasses 25,000 square miles in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, West Virginia and Delaware.”
Mr. Landers is a Baltimore native and well-respected real estate veteran as well as a licensed agent in Maryland. Most notably, he served for nearly thirteen years as the Executive Vice President of the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® (GBBR), the nation’s oldest REALTOR® association where he oversaw the growth and prosperity of the Board. In addition, Mr. Landers served with distinction on the Board of Directors for RealEstate Business Intelligence (RBI), a subsidiary of MRIS.
In his new role, Mr. Landers will be responsible for opening up the dialogue and subsequently building strategic alliances with REALTOR® associations and MLS organizations throughout the region. He will focus on providing MRIS’ industry leading property listing system, business development tools, real estate market analytics and other resources to those markets not currently served by MRIS.
