Marketing Communications Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced candidate who has a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication and a proven ability to execute upon them.  This position will report to the Director of Marketing and help to plan and implement effective marketing communication and promotional campaigns.  In this role, you will also be responsible for translating marketing plans into executable strategies, creating and managing schedules, implementation of plans, developing communications material and ensuring that the company brand is appropriately reflected throughout all communications.

The successful candidate should have 6+ years' experience, including 5 years of experience with a major corporation, association, professional services or communications firm and experience in new media marketing and developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans.  Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to write in a professional, lively, compelling and accessible fashion is required.  Able to tell a story, sell a product and enhance customer satisfaction.  Flexibility and proven background and mind set to be "go to" person is needed.
