Technical Services Specialist

We're looking for an experienced candidate who can analyze, plan and install new personal computer systems and associated hardware as well as review, monitor and upgrade existing computer systems.  This position will report to the Director of IT Operations and Security and help investigate hardware problems and perform system hardware and communication connection repairs.  In this role, you will also determine user specifications for hardware and software, perform basic diagnostic testing and deploy telephone sets to workstations.

The successful candidate should have 6 or more years of general work experience with a minimum of 3 years IT related experience and A+, Network+ and/or MCP certification.  Comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting as well as knowledge to troubleshoot audiovisual equipment is required.  Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills.  Ability to explain technical matters simply and accurately is required.
