Enroll in a Class
MRIS has designed two applications for utilizing the Multiple Listing Service database:
Matrix and Keystone.
Matrix is the application that you will use for listing searches, creating CMAs, etc. Keystone is the data
entry application that you will use to enter and edit listings. No software installation is required, since
Matrix and Keystone are browser-based (Internet-based) applications. Your User ID and Password are all you'll
need to login.
If you've just joined MRIS, we encourage you to attend the
New Agent Introduction to MRIS class. It covers a combination of topics including an introduction
to the features available on the MRIS Web site and basic functionality of our listing search and data
entry applications, Matrix and Keystone.
We also offer additional hands-on classes for both
Matrix and Keystone, including 3-hour sessions for those who desire in-depth training. MRIS recommends
that you start with the New Agent Introduction class, try our interactive Matrix and Keystone online
tutorials and then sign-up for the hands-on training if desired.
Classes fill up fast! If you are unable to attend a class, as a courtesy, please cancel your class
online or call Customer Service at (301) 838-7160 at least 48 hours in advance to cancel or change your
reservation.

MRIS Fees
When joining MRIS, you are required to submit billing authorization allowing automated withdrawals from your
account for MRIS fees. Upon activation of your MRIS service, you will be charged a one-time Subscription fee.
On the first day of the following month and every three months thereafter, a quarterly subscription fee will be
charged to your account. Please refer to the
Schedule of Fees and Charges (Exhibit B) for a complete list of MRIS fees. Answers to you financial
questions can be found in our Finance FAQs section.
Rules and Regulations
In accordance with the terms of the MRIS Subscription Agreement, you agree to abide by the
MRIS Rules and Regulations. Please review them
and become familiar with proper procedure.
Violations of the MRIS Rules and Regulations may result in fines,
as specified on Exhibit B. Fines are automatically processed using your billing information.
If you have any questions, please address them to
the Compliance Department.
Photography Services
All property images are uploaded by the listing agent (via Keystone Photo Upload) or by
Virtual Imaging Corporation (VIC). The first Exterior Main image of the property is free of charge.
When entering your listing, you will select a Photo Option.
- To upload your own images, select "Lister will Upload All." This will allow you to upload your
images as soon as your new listing is visible in Matrix (approximately 15 minutes after entry).
- To have VIC, MRIS's photo vendor, take a photo of your listing, select "VIC Exterior Only." By
making this selection, VIC will assign a photographer to take one Exterior Main photo.

You can download official forms, such as the Change
in Customer Information Form, Profile Sheets, Finance Forms and much more, on the MRIS Web site.
My Account
My Account is a convenient tool that allows you
to make changes to your MRIS account. With My Account, you can:
- Change your password, contact information, or home address;
- Subscribe to MRIS Newsletters;
- Review your Annual Billing Statement;
- Obtain answers to Frequently Asked Questions about your account; or
- Download MRIS forms.
You'll find the link to My Account in the top section of the MRIS Web site.
