How do I subscribe to MRIS and how long does it take to process my application?
Click here for step by step instructions on how to join MRIS. Processing time is approximately 2 to 3 business days. MRIS sends a letter to your home informing you of important information regarding their subscription, e.g. Billing Date, Subscription Type and Original Training Date.
What are the fees to join?
Fees vary by customer type and can be found in the MRIS Subscription agreement.
Can my assistant take training classes offered by MRIS?
Personal Assistants and Office Secretaries are encouraged to join the MRIS system. When they join, they can use the system, take training classes, take advantage of the help provided by the MRIS Support Center, sign up for free Internet Access and Email and the list goes on. They will have all the privileges as their agents except the ability for their names to appear on Property Listings.
When will last year's annual statements be available online?
Annual statements are generally available in February.
When will my quarterly payments be charged?
Your quarterly payments will begin on your Billing Start Date as stated in the confirmation email you receive with your User ID and Password. Payments are non-refundable and will be charged in advance, on the first day of the billing quarter, as long as you are a customer of MRIS. If you would like to verify your billing dates, please contact Support Center.
Can I change my billing information over the phone?
For your protection and to prevent errors, we require all billing changes to be processed through the MRIS Online Payment Service. Visit My Account.
What payment methods can be used?
MRIS accepts payments online, auto pay, and check. All payments are processed electronically. MRIS accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Payments by check should be mailed to:
Metropolitan Regional Information Systems Inc.
PO Box 37093

I joined the board. Why was I charged the higher fee?
MRIS is not linked to the local boards. When you join or terminate your board membership, MRIS may not be notified. We receive information from some of the local boards, but not all, and we may not receive the information immediately. If you join a board and want to make sure MRIS has the information, please email Support Center
Who am I paying for other than myself?
Many agents pay for personal assistants. They may forget that they provided billing for another subscriber. If you are paying fees for an assistant or another agent, MRIS must be notified if the relationship changes and you no longer wish to pay the fees for the other customer. In addition, to change your billing information you must use the MRIS Online Payment Service on My Account. The other customer you are paying for must also log into the MRIS Online Payment Service to add you as a third party payer with a valid credit/debit card.
I have an unusual charge on my account. What is it for?
Many fees for premium services and products are charged after the date of service. To view past paid invoices, please visit My Account and MRIS Online Payment Service Click the View Invoices link on the left. Select a date range, click submit. The paid invoices will include an item description and the amount paid. You can request this display to be emailed to the email address on file.
I put my license in referral status. Why is MRIS still charging quarterly fees?
State licensing commissions do not notify MRIS when a license is placed on referral or inactive status. Therefore, MRIS will continue to charge quarterly fees until we receive written notification from you or your broker to terminate your subscription. Click here to learn more about Account Cancellations.
