MRIS, the nation's largest MLS, agrees to license realPING "Click To Talk NOW" Technology

--

Rockville, MD (April 10, 2009) - Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc. (MRIS) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with realPING, LLC to market the industry leading real-time click-to-call technology tool to real estate brokers and agents.  The exclusive agreement also enables MRIS to license the innovative product in bulk to MLS organizations across the country.

With a growing expectation among consumers for responsiveness, real estate professionals can benefit from tools that help them to quickly meet the needs of clients and prospective customers.  By working together, MRIS and realPING are able to deliver the VoiP-enabled "Click to Talk NOW" service to MRIS customers, allowing the brokers and agents to instantly connect with clients at a minimal cost.

"Brokers and agents who want to become a ‘first responder' need a tool that knocks down communication barriers," said Albert Clark, Principal Partner of realPING. "realPING allows these professionals to offer an ‘immediacy tool' on their website, listings, virtual tours and emails, everywhere they are electronically. When it comes to real estate, engaged callers do not want ASAP, they want NOW." Clark added.

realPING's click-to-call e-button can be placed on broker and agent website(s), listings, virtual tours, blogs, email signatures and within other MLS vendor solutions.  When a consumer needs answers, they click on the realPING link and a call is initiated and their phone rings within seconds. Simultaneously, the real estate professional's phone (cell or landline) rings and the call is immediately bridged. At any time during the call, the agent can "push" content to the caller's Internet browser remotely right from their phone.  Website pages that are usually "pushed" include agent/broker websites, new listings, mortgage information, and even virtual tours.

"The immediate connectivity that realPING provides between the consumer and real estate professional empowers the agent to transform a visitor to their website, listing or email into a potential client instantly, just by picking up the phone," said David Charron, CEO of MRIS.  "Enabling our customers to be the one that first ‘connects' with visitors when they are engaged will differentiate their service level in today's market."

The realPING "Click to Talk NOW" tool will join a suite of other MRIS premium technology products aimed at helping brokers and agents increase their business by connecting with more clients online.
